Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Site #34 hosted a Christmas Eve party, with food and open bar!! Of course we are to attend!!

And of course Rudolph a Dave over did it with Rum and Eggnog!

But all was good Christmas Day. Edwin and Don hosted Christmas dinner for all us "boys".

Thanks for a very fun evening!

Back to California.

La Choya Excursion (Dec 21)

Drove with Frank & Margaret to a little town called La Choya, probably 10 minutes away. On the edge of a Rocky Mountain and the ocean. Very cool!!

Some really nice places, but totally deserted. Thinking all owned by Americans.

One entrance with Policia at the gate.

As we made our way back, passed by hotel zone. (Condos as well).

Then happened across a birthday party where the kids had a piñata!

Dinner & Sunset

Went down to the Malecon for dinner, drinks and sunset with Frank and Margaret.

First stop - The Tekila Bar. 

And lucky to get front row seats.

Yummy drinks. Steve had a Piña Colada, and Dave had a Chelada. And a great Mariachi band just beyond the drinks.

Awesome view of ocean and great for people watching.

The bar had some interesting sayings on the wall. 

And then the beautiful sunset.

Downstairs had some, um, interesting drinks! Which one would you order.

Hard to believe it's Christmas!

Across the street to Lucky's Cantini for dinner. When the sun goes down it does get a little cool.

But delicious food, and great company.!

A Windy Day At The Beach

Although it was windy, it was hot. The waves were very high and crashing down.

And our new friends Ted and Mikkey.

The majority of the beach is not sand but finely crushed shells, all natural. Collected a few shells and created a memory that was washed away later by the waves.
