Sunday T-Dance at Oscar's

Nothing more fun than afternoon drinks! Top it off with the hottest Disco, yes 70's Disco under the sun! Actually got Edwin and Cowboy Don to come with us!

As the sun set the lights came on and the weather was perfect!

Some of the gang! Squeezed 7 of us in Don's truck from the RV Park!

Cowboy Don - was the designated driver and had to deal with a bunch of yahoo's on the ride home!

Then had to go for eats at Bongo Johnny's. Delicious food!

Great night!!!! Can't wait til next Sunday!

RAIN RAIN RAIN RAIN RAIN

The rain is over but we had 6 out of the last 7 days of rain.

They don't have drainage on the streets, but have built these large "wash" drainage systems which are like canals. However they flood and therefore the roads flood and are closed down. This one, Cathedral Canyon Drive is 1/3 kms down from our RV Park entrance. We walked past the barricade to takes these.

But after the last day of rain it's all good again!

Was able to sit by the pool for a bit today, but the forecast looks good!!

Looking forward to laying by the pool! 🌴🌵☀️

Not much happening over the past two weeks, so....

Nothing too exciting so just a few snipits of not up being up to any good.

Downtown at the Sunday T-Dance and bumped into Tim and Brian. Dave used to play Volleyball with them back in the 1990's.

Return to pool days! Last gorgeous day before 5 days of forecast of rain.

Gotta take advantage of the Tuesday $2.00 vodka drink specials.

.....and free pool!!

And getting right into karaoke. Steve belting out "Sing Me Back Home" (Merle Haggard).

"This Bud's For You" (with another photo bomb).

And if you followed last years blog, you may remember the hummingbird whose life was saved by Dave. It flew into the front of the 5th wheel and fell to the ground unconscious. Dave picked him up and cared for it until it was okay to fly away. We named it "Hummy". Hummy came and visited every day after that. Now when we get here this year, Hummy built a nest right outside our living room window, in the bush less 10 inches away and at eye level. She feels really safe with us and wants to hatch her eggs in our company! Too cool!

Luncheon in Rancho Mirage

The five Canadians (Dave, Steve, Rick , Shawn and Chris) were invited to lunch at  Rob and Ken's place in Rancho Mirage.

Just a tad to cold for the pool but very gorgeous!

Large windows facing the pool/patio so lots of natural lite.

Tasty lunch was served: Lasagna, fresh tossed salad, garlic/parmesan/oil toasted baguette. Minnie cream puffs for desert. But the wine kept flowing and the 60 of Fireball came out and all hell broke loose!

Napkin folding!

You know what we do when we have a few drinks and there are napkins!

And then left. Shawn thought it would be good to head downtown, so we did.

Should a just gone home! Oh well!
