Day two!

Departed at 7:40 (yawn!)

Travel through Boise and Twin Falls, Idajo. Crossing the Snake River which is the gateway to Twin Falls. It is an unbelievable view looking at the gorge with a golf course down below.

Went through the border town of Jackpot Nevada and arrived at Mountain Shadows RV Park at 4:05 in Wells, Nevada. Early morning tomorrow and arriving in Las Vegas around 2:00 PM.. Interesting that it's Las Vegas when I have the navigator.

2018 trip south

Boy, close call! Fire literally right next to the road. Traffic went by very smoothly.

Had time to buy my own road!!

Arrived safe and sound! Pendleton, Oregon safe and sound. Arrived at 5:15 pm.

Modernism Week -Palm Springs

So during the Modernism week in Palm Springs, there was an architectural bike tour which went through the neatest neighbourhoods and you get to see very interesting houses.

Marilyn Monroe's house.

This house was Dinah Shore's (it was actually built for her). It is now owned by Leonardo De Caprio. And he rents it out when he is not there. As you can see there are two people entering it in the picture.

Gotta have a cold one at Street Bar when we were done. Yum!!

Ran across the street to Score Bar for their Saturday bingo! Won free drinks and Steve won a Score Bar T -Shirt.

Painted Canyon and Salton Sea

Decided to take the coaches out for a run. Stayed two nights at the Salton Sea, one hour south of Palm Springs with Shawn, Chris and Lucy.

Very narrow path carved by millions of years of water flowing down from the mountains.

Had to carry the two dogs down the seven ladders.

Two and a half hours later we made it!
